So, forever I've been searching for a giant cookie recipe. Ya know, those kind that you can only buy at one of those creepy gas stations in the middle of no where that you happen to stop at, at 3am in the morning on a road trip. Those are the best! So after years of searching for this cookie recipe, I finally caught a break! I was checking out this awesome cookie site and found the recipe!!!! I made them this afternoon, decided to skip lunch and split one of them with my sister and just work out like crazy tonight to burn off the calories.

Apple pie.
I decided that I wanted to make a pie today, to continue my joy of the cold weather combined with baking! I had a horrible night of sleep last night, as usual. So I woke up early, made my dough and then ran to the boys and got some apples and some pears ( that's my secret to making the perfect apple pie, because of the starch content in a pear) I came home, starting pealing away. I went all out today and did some hand crafted leafs for the border of my pie. Enjoy!

world's best peanut butter cookies
So this weekend, we got our first "cold front". The weather has just been amazing, I'm loving every second of it! When it gets nice and chilly like this, I love to bake. I'm on a diet and can't really eat anything good so I haven't been able to bake lately, although I have been able to try out a BUNCH of awesome low cal recipes! I will eventually post these recipes with pictures and my evaluations of other low cal products.
Like I said, I LOVE to bake in this weather, to me, there is nothing more comforting than a cup of chai tea in one hand and a cookie tray in the other. So I decided to make some cookies, and just force myself not to eat any of them!!! My brother loves peanut butter cookies and I found this really awesome recipe online. The recipe claimed to be the world's best peanut butter cookies and it turns out that they really are that amazing! I even gave some to my neighbor. That's right! they are neighbor worthy! Here's the link.
